I am a longtime Menomonee Falls resident, having called this community home since 1986. I’m a proud father of two sons and have spent my life balancing professional leadership with hands-on community involvement.
Professionally, I have worked as an Independent Registered Representative in insurance, investments, and retirement planning since 1990, helping families and individuals plan responsibly for their futures. Earlier in my career, I served as Recreation and Community Education Director for the Menomonee Falls School District and later as Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Portage, where I managed staff, programs, and multi-hundred-thousand-dollar budgets while expanding services without increasing taxpayer costs
Experience in Education and Public Service
My connection to education goes well beyond advocacy. I previously served on the Portage School Board as Treasurer, overseeing an $8 million annual budget, and have worked closely with school districts through community education, athletics, and youth programs.
I’ve also served on numerous boards and committees at the local and state level, including appointments by the Governor of Wisconsin and leadership roles in nonprofit and civic organizations. These roles required collaboration, transparency, and long-term planning — skills I bring to every leadership position
Deep Roots in Community and Service
Community service has always been central to my life. I’ve volunteered with organizations such as Special Olympics, Menomonee Falls youth sports, the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, the Salvation Army, and the Wisconsin Prison Fellowship, where I served as Chairman of the Board and was honored as Volunteer of the Year.
I’ve also been a certified WIAA sports official for over 40 years, officiating at the high school, collegiate, and national levels. Through athletics, volunteering, and faith-based service, I’ve remained closely connected to youth, families, and the values that make communities thrive.
I believe effective school board leadership requires experience, integrity, and a genuine commitment to students and families. My background in education, budgeting, and community service has prepared me to serve thoughtfully and responsibly — always focused on what’s best for Menomonee Falls.
